Returns

We hope you love our stuff as much as we do, but if not, don’t panic, our no quibble returns policy means that you can return anything to us in an unused condition in its original packaging within 200 days of it arriving at no cost to you, yes 200 days!

All you have to do is give us a call or email us, let us know what you would like to return and we will do the rest. We completely understand ordering something like furniture online isn’t easy, sometimes it’s just the colour isn’t right, we will even help chose something more suitable if you would like us to!

If it’s because your order has had a bad time getting to you and may have taken a knock on it’s way, we understand it can happen. We will happily arrange an exchange that will suit you, just please remember not to discard of your packaging as we don’t accept returns without the original packaging.

For returns items weighing less than 3 kilos, these can easily be returned for free via the Post Office using the below returns label.

(please keep your proof of postage reciept until you have been refunded)

Larger items (over 3 kilos) ring us and we will arrange our carrier to collect from you. Please still attach a copy of the below returns form to the outer of the box so we can easily locate your order when it arrives in our warehouse

If you use an onward courier not employed by ourselves, we cannot accept liability for damaged items, unless reported damaged by your courier to our courier at the point of receipt from our courier. If you choose to use an onward courier (for example if you live over sea) please ensure they insure your items for loss or damage for this reason.

 

*Please note free returns does not apply for non mainland UK or International orders. (exclusions apply, please see full terms for more information)

*Any discrepancies need to be reported within 7 days of receiving delivery.

*Should you return an item from an order where you have multiple products and the returned item takes the original order total below the £50 needed to qualify for free/discounted delivery the £4.95 shipping cost will be withheld from your refund amount

 

Polite Notice

Please do not attempt to return furniture items using a standard courier, i.e Parcelforce, my Hermes, we will arrange for our friendly drivers to take this of your hands for you. The only reason for this is they wont handle larger fragile pieces carefully and they do tend to arrive back broken if sent with someone else. If you do choose to send the item back with an alternate courier, you must accept liability if the item is damaged and we don’t like doing that!

 

FAQ

My order has been damaged/lost in transit, what do I do?

Don’t worry!, we will replace it free of charge, we use a fully trackable service and this is a very rare occurrence. Just call us on 01302 741007 or email us – customerservices@melodymaison.co.uk, if you can take pictures of any damage that is very helpful for us too!

My order doesn’t match the online description

Again, don’t worry, we will refund you in full once it has arrived back in our warehouse and we will also do our best to help find you something perfect in it’s place! Sometimes our items can differ in design over time, the supplier may change its measurements or the colour may be slightly different. We do our best to catch this happening before it arrives to you but if we miss it, we will help resolve the problem as best we can, again this barely ever happens!

 

When will I be refunded?

We promise to refund you within 3 days of your item arriving back on our premises, we are sorry but we aren’t able to refund anything until the item has been returned to our warehouse.
